For many,Western Archives Bitmoji is a hard sell. Scarred by annoying BitStrips years ago, the concept of creating an emoji of yourself seemed juvenile, and kind of cheesy.

Even after Snap bought the company last year, it still didn't bring much to the table. Then, Snapchat rolled out an update last week, where users could make their own 3D Bitmoji, and animate them in their snaps.

While 3D animated Bitmoji sounds like yet another mediocre feature tech companies are trying to sell its users, check it out in action. Here's a compilation put together by comedian Mike Scott Khoury.

"I never was gonna make a Bitmoji until I saw the shit," Khoury admits. He then captures his new little buddy doing a bunch of random actions, like getting scared at the movies, playing guitar, dancing to music, and doing yoga on his dashboard.

Sure, it's silly, but it's also really entertaining and a great example of augmented reality that people will actually use.
