The elaborate video takes place in a futuristic, TheJestsons-esque town called Oblivia, where folks are launched over a wall, running on a giant hamster wheel and going through the colorful motions of life with a robotic elegance.

Some folks are comparing the video to Netflix's science-fiction and technology focused show Black Mirrorwhile others are finding political undertones in the pastel universe -- a reference Perry is clearly going for.
