Fortnite: Battle Royale,Caught in the Act: Promiscuous Sex Life of My D-Cup Mother in law the free-to-play game that's sweeping the world, is making bank.

Fortnitehas made $100 million on iOS through in-app purchases in just 90 days, mobile app data analysis company Sensor Tower reported on Wednesday. That number makes the game the second most successful launch of all time on iOS.

Fortnite, which is free to download and play, has garnered that impressive revenue despite the fact that the only things available to purchase are completely inconsequential to gameplay. Players are spending money on costumes, outfits, and emotes that don't give anyone an advantage in multiplayer — but they do make them look cool, which is important for people who spend a ton of time in that game.

The only game Fortnitedidn't beat on mobile is Clash Royale, which offers things for real money that give players an advantage in the game with good cards. Although these microtransactions are pretty cheap, they can add up quickly. Fortnitestill outpaced Clash Royaleduring April, May, and June, though.

Fortnite: Battle Royalecame to iOS in April after launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac in September 2017, and most recently launched on Nintendo Switch this month. The game has exploded in popularity since it first arrived, likely aided by the free cost of entry and bolstered by the popularity of Battle Royalepredecessor, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

On PS4 and Xbox One alone, Fortniteraked in $233 million in March, making it the most successful free-to-play console game of all time.

Lacking more consoles or platforms on which to launch, Fortnitewill likely take a hit in growth in the coming months, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's been a huge success thus far.
